BOYS & GIRLS CLUB CORE PROGRAMS

Power Hour

Making Minutes Count provides members with the strategies, activities, resources and information to help assist members with their studies. Our homework help and tutoring program encourages Club members, to become self-directed learners.

DIY STEM

A hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum that connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly.

Healthy Habits

Teaches youth about healthy eating. In 14 progressive sessions for each age group, young people develop skills, confidence and motivation to make nutrition choices that support an overall healthy lifestyle.

Computer Science at the Club

Members learn computer science based on their needs and unique interests. Club members will develop critical thinking, problem-solving and coding skills.

Triple Play

A suite of three targeted programs designed to build the skills, attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors essential to an overall healthy lifestyle. This program celebrates mind, body and soul with a focus on Fitness, Heathy Eating, Self-Care and respect.

Visual Arts

Develop your skills as an artist with projects in color theory, composition, drawing, painting, mixed‑media and more.

Youth Arts

Activities engages young artists as they express themselves creatively and practice arts skills across the four pillars of Visual, Performing, Digital and Applied Arts.

Leadership

Youth build leadership skills with project-based activities from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Youth of the Year Leadership Suite.

MusicMakers

Helps youth cultivate and amplify their powerful, formidable voice through writing music, lyric creation, and music production.

Journeys ― Paths to Adulthood

Teaches young people how to find the space, support and tools they need to navigate the journey of adolescence and emerge strong, healthy young adults. This program helps youth develop healthy attitudes and lifestyles they will carry into adulthood.
