Due to the weather conditions, schools are CLOSED today

Dear CAPS Central Community,

This is an update to our prior message; this storm has become too severe to hold classes. With the road flooding issues and rain continuing throughout the night, we must put the safety of students and staff first and close our school for tomorrow, Thursday, September 2.

We appreciate your understanding of the difficulties in making this decision, and your support in helping your child remain safe during these times.

Our scholars’ safety continues to be our main priority. Due to inclement weather, there will be a two hour delay at all campuses, on September 2, 2021. All scholars will report to school at 9:30am. Dismissal times will remain the same for all grades.
